John Harris’s conversation with Andrew Liptak
John has been interviewed by Andrew of Transfer Orbit. It was initially to discuss John’s book, Into the Blue, but they touched on many other things too.
Lindisfarne – and ‘Clever Crow’
We have paintings and etchings by Olivia Lomenech Gill for sale, some loosely based on the work she produced for the book ‘Clever Crow’ and some from the project for the English Heritage Priory Museum on Lindisfarne.
The Year of the Dragon
There are many dragons to spot in this section of Ian Miller’s archival prints.
Tough Decision
Simon Bartram‘s drawing of his friend, giving something a lot of thought.
Ian Miller prints
We have so many beautiful prints of Ian’s work now. Here are just three, but have a look at the complete collection here. Ian Miller prints. The editions are limited, usually to 20, and Ian signs them and numbers them himself. The quality is superb. Magic the Gathering, Sorcery Contested Realm, so many to choose from!
Olivia Lomenech Gill’s Robert Westall lecture
Olivia was invited by by the Yoto Carnegie team to give this year’s Robert Westall Memorial Lecture in collaboration with CILIP’s Youth Libraries Group. The result is the most engaging and inspirational talk which touched on many facets of her work, including some with a link to Robert Westall’s own. If you have a coffee to hand, and some minutes to spare, I urge you to listen to this passionate voice at a time when so many of us are asking how we’ve found ourselves in such difficult times.
Realms of Chaos
One of the last drawings from this series by Ian Miller. This one and more originals are available here.
Gordon Crabb covers
When you’re stuck in a queue in a bookshop it’s not hard to find a handful of Gordon Crabb’s romance covers to put in a row. If you’re looking for a stock image for your cover, have a look at what we have.
Alexis Deacon, original art
I’m delighted to have some of Alexis’s original paintings for the retelling of Oscar Wilde’s The Selfish Giant. There’s a selection of them for sale, along with some of his paintings of insects which were commissioned to illustrate James and the Giant Peach. Alexis works digitally now, so these early originals are becoming highly collectable.
Ian Miller signed prints
Sedris, the Traitor King. From Magic, the Gathering. This one, and many others are available in limited editions of archival prints signed by Ian.
